The following pictures are from Abney Park in Hackney District, London. My friend James brought me there after breakfast a couple weeks ago as a surprise. It is an old Victorian cemetary that has now been turned into a conservation area. As you walk through the maze- like paths, you see that the tombstones are almost placed over one another. The roots have pushed them around and the plants have taken over and grown all over the place. It is a peaceful walk, and you can see children playing amongst the weeds.
